Can't see remote files

I have read all the other posts on this topic and tried all the settings suggested but no matter what I cannot see the remote files on any of my uploads.webspace.freeserve.net sites. The one orange sitebuilder one works fine. All my accounts worked perfectly until recently (maybe an XP auto-update changed a setting) with Smart FTP and other clients.
I like the program and would consider buying it if this issue were resolved.

I get the same. Seemed to start a week ago and coincided with me moving from my Belkin router to my Orange Livebox. Wortks fine on another site I use. Anyone got any ideas? I get this:-

Looks like an issue with the web hosting provider. Try to use active mode (PORT) instead of passive mode (PASV):
