Waiting for remote hash freeze

I am unable to download one file from my own ftp server (on a different pc). Smartftp 2.5.1005.10 freezes, reproducable.

Queue log:
[14:24:17] SIZE Stevie B-Zet - When I see.mp3.cue

[14:24:17] 213 1692

[14:24:17] MDTM Stevie B-Zet - When I see.mp3.cue

[14:24:17] 213 20030330091128

I have exactly the same problem.

My file is called: "file.iso.sig".

When starting download, the Zz appears in the queue, and status shows "Waiting for remote hash". The CPU load goes to #80-90% and SmartFTP can't be terminated anymore (except via Task Manager). Stopping the queue doesn't help. SmartFTP reaction is very slow and CPU load remains very high.

The corresponding iso file "file.iso" is downloaded properly without any locks.

@mb

I tried it again now and it worked.
I'll test it in detail tomorrow.

Thanks,

Where do I get the "log" from if I download via the queue?

Again ... when downloading files from the "Transfer Queue", the Log window doesn't report details of the download. How can I get a log from the "Transfer Queue" downloads?

Thanks,

So far we are unable to reproduce the problem you have reported.

We are going in circles. Please describe in detail how to reproduce the problem. If we could the bug would have been fixed already.

Before you start testing please install the latest version:

Do you have a .md5 or .sfv file in the folder you are downloading the file to?

None of these 2 files are on the server folder, nor on the client folder where the file is downloaded to (my PC at home).

However I found out now, that when I start a direct download (avoiding the queue), that the download works fine without any hash error message or SmartFTP crash, even if the files go to the same folder as if downloaded by the queue. Perhaps this helps ... ?

Regards,

The direct transfers don't do any file hashings.
