SITE CHMOD errors

500 SITE not understood
500 Unknown command
500 SITE CHMOD command not understood
502 Command 'SITE' not implemented

The errors above vary from server to server. The FTP server does not support the SITE command; therefore, it is not possible to send the SITE CHMOD command to set permissions on files or folders.

If your server does not support CHMOD, contact the FTP server administrator for assistance. CHMOD stands for change mode and is used to change file-system modes such as permissions.
