An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

Problem

You are trying to connect to an IPv6 address without the IPv6 stack installed.

Solution

1. Install the IPv6 stack. For more information, see IPv6.
2. Select Favorites > Edit Favorites from the SmartFTP menu. The Favorites window appears.
3. In the Favorites window, select the favorite that you want to edit. Right-click it and select Properties.
4. Select Connection. On the Connection tab, under Settings, change the default Protocol Family preference to IPv6.
