Hi,
I am a teacher and I am constantly setting up and testing ftp accounts for students with very similar address's what I want to know is when I type in the address can I prevent SmartFTP from appending the user name to the address?
for example stuartwr.hitwebs.net - stuartw
It is just annoying that when I am testing 20 accounts I have to keep deleting the user name from the address

You can setup a new connection through the menu: File->New Remote Browser dialog. This way you can give the favorite any name you want.
