Email Templates not saved

Dear support,

I'm trying customize the email templates, specificly the subject line to include something meaningfull to the us. I was able to customize it and have email alerts sent with the customize subject line, however if I restart the application, all the customized templates revert back to default.

Please advise how I could work around this bug.

Regards,

Philix

I'm unable to reproduce this. Can you please try it with the latest version?

Thank you for the quick response.
I just downloaded the lastest version (4.0.1137.0) to a different pc and I'm get the exact same results.

It is fine if I don't exit the application, but if I restart the app the setting is back to default.

I test changing the subject line to read "Test" but it keeps reverting back to "[Transfer Queue] - {Id} - {Operation} - {Status}" after restart the app.

Btw, what version did you test with?

I'm using the same version. It might be a permission problem.

Try to delete the following folder:
%appdata%\SmartFTP\Client 2.0\Queue

Thats the place where the .xml file gets saved.

I checked both pc's, I don't see the "Queue" folder under "Client 2.0" folder, there are other folders however. I do a file name "Transfer Queue.xml"

Bug confirmed. The next version will have a fix for it. In the meanwhile create a "Queue" folder under the "Client 2.0" folder.

Yup, that did it.

Great support!

Thank you very much.

The new version with the bug fix is available now:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

It automatically creates the missing Queue folder.

Will try it out.

Thanks again
