Login authentication failed

I've just upgraded to the latest release available (for 64 bit) and suddenly cannot connect with my FTP servers. I always receive the "530 Login Authentication Failed" error, no matter how I try. Of course, I use correct usernames and passwords...

How can I solve this awful problem?

Go to the menu: File->New Remote Browser. Enter the host, username and password. Click OK to connect.

Are you kidding me?

I know how to operate a connection, and always get the login error. I've tried both PASV ON and PASV OFF modes, without success.

Is there something else I can do?

PROBLEM SOLVED: SmartFTP was proved not guilty

There was a subtle problem with my permanent IP-address. A full reset accomplished the magic.
