Same problem - here's my log file. It started when I migrated to Windows 7....before that used SmartFTP on XP and Vista for years with no problem.

I downloaded the beta version last week and had the same problem. I resolved the problem by uninstalling the beta version and installing the previous one (4.0.1072.0).
I have installed SmartFTP 4.0.1081.0 Home Edition and am back with the problem again.

Bob: Try the suggestion in my last post. 1081 is the newest and you need to uninstall SmartFTP first.

just top follow up I downgraded to the older version and resolved my problem as well. Seems highly likley that this is a bug in the current release.

I just uninstalled 1080 and re-installed 1081 (Home) but still I'm having the same issue:

The attempted file to upload never added to the transfer queue. It's just like nothing happened, unlike the trial version that worked perfectly.

The transfer queue works but now the files are zero length up on the ftp server. Is there somewhere to download previous versions of smartftp so I can have a functioning ftp client again?

Confirmed, this version works.
Interestingly, the same messages about not being able to find the file still shows up, in triplicate, but then the file is added to the queue and the transfer is executed.
Also, copy and paste, and right-click -> upload work,
however drag and drop into the window does not.
