I just updated from 3.0.1039.0 to 4.0.1054.0 on one of my licensed systems. Now I'm having problems connecting to a specific FTP host using ACTIVE mode. The other licensed system is running 3.0.1026.17 and connects properly.
4.0.1054.0 starts the connection process, logs into the FTP host, but does not display the folder/files on the host. Instead, it tries to fall-over to the passive mode - which is prohibited by the host as a security measure. (Only Port 21 ftp connections are accepted.)

just received a reply back from Sunbelt with a fix. It seems that updating SmartFTP changed the permissions in the firewall that had been set with the older version.
