FXP over ssh with SmartFTP Pro-version

Simple question: Can I FXP over ssh with the SmartFTP Pro-version?

As I understand it, SmartFTP can do FXP with "normal" FTP and does support ssh with the Pro-version. But can it do both, ie ssh in to two machines and transfer files directly?

Never mind. Just found out that

1. SFTP doesn't allow for FXP.

2. SCP might do it, but would have some practical drawbacks.

So I'm back to doing on-place transfers with gFTP on linux... 8-/

I need to use FXP too.
And SmartFTP seems to be compatble with it : https://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/what-is-fxp-f14.html

But how ?

Take a look at the FXP tutorial:
https://www.smartftp.com/support/howto

If it doesn't work, the problem is with the server.
