Can't upload files in Win 7

Hi, I am running Smart Ftp version 3.0.1035.0. my Os is Windows 7 Ultimate edition. When I try to upload a file to the ftp server Smart FTP freezes. The only way to exit is through deleting the process via task manager. any insights?

Please post the system information from the menu: Help->About "System Information"
