UI Preferences Clobbered by Upgrade

Previously, with 3.0.1018.4:

I since upgraded to 3.0.1021 and kept the UI like that. Today I upgraded to 3.0.1023.4 and here's how SmartFTP started:

Ouch! Now, I open a website and get this:

OUCH! After wasting a couple of minutes putting it back to be like Windows Explorer and de-cluttered, with child windows maximised:

Then I noticed I'd left the protocols drop-down after the Address label. So I right-clicked and selected Customise, which reversed the toolbar order:

Thankfully this was temporary and it went back to normal after I finished the customisations:

This is how it should have been after the upgrade seamlessly migrated my preferences forwards.

I've reported upgrade problems like this several times before. Including the v2 era. Disappointing to see this still happens, long after SmartFTP changed business model. It means I keep older versions for longer out of fear that my preferences will get clobbered again.

The new details are:
