Upload only new or upadted files and folders

Hi,
I have tried and tried to upload only new or modified files. Searched the forums and did not see how to get only new or modified files up to the server. The modified dates on the server are being set to the time of the transfer?

Is this possible?

I noticed that your server is running the FTP server from Microsoft. This server software doesn't offer a feature to set the date/time of a remote file.

So what you are saying using MS FTP on the server will cause it to transfer all the files even if the dates match? The rules set up in SmartFTP does not apply when talking to MS FTP?

Nope. What I mean is that SmartFTP cannot set the date/time of the files on the server because the FTP server does not support a function to do so. The file exist decision mechanism should work as expected. But for the best experience I recommend to use a FTP server software with new features as MFMT, MLSD, etc.

The file exist decision mechanism should work as expected. But for the best experience I recommend to use a FTP server software with new features as MFMT, MLSD, etc.

Hello ..

By default SmartFTP only transfers new/updated files - regardless of the FTP server. But there are other features as remote file keep file time that require an advanced FTP server. The following server products support this: Gene6 FTP server, Serv-U.
