No files showing

I use SmartFTP for many FTP accounts, however my most recent one has a problem I'd like resolved. It appears to log in to the FTP site, however it will not show any file/folders. I have another FTP client that works for this FTP account on all it's default settings. I want to use SmartFTP instead of the other program. Can you tell anthing from this log?

What server are you connecting to? Are you both behind different firewalls? Sounds like the FTP server is behind a firewall or router and it is trying to return its local IP instead of its public IP for the passive request.

No. My case related to non displaying files after some time work with some folder. Please refer to my topic. But this is similar like this topic. There are no firewalls.

datamark: Please post the log from the FTP client that works. Thank you.

intro: Your problem has nothing to do witht this user's problem.

Well, I thought my problem was related. And I read that post before posting mine. There was no solution before, but I'm happy to report that mine is working now. On the advice of the tech at the shared host, I used the domain name of the ftp server instead of the IP address that I was using unsuccessfully. I don't understand why that made the difference, because I know the IP address I was using was correct. But there it is. It's working now. I hope you can use the same trick to your advantage. Thanks for your help.
