FTP Server with proven ZLIB compression support

Can any SmartFTP users or support team recommend a good FTP Server for Windows 2003 that has support for compression?

When I connect to the Windows 2003 provided system I see only

ftp> literal feat
211-FEAT
SIZE
MDTM
211 END

The data I am sending should compress well but I don't want to complicate the process at both ends unnecessarily. The option to use ZLIB seems to fit my bill. Do you agree?
