Cannot Create Favorite - using linksys WRT54GS router

I just purchased SmartFTP (after using it for years for my non-profit) because I had been getting various error messages "including closed by host computer" among others, since I connected my new router.

Now, with the new SmartFTP download, I find most of the action icons are grayed out. For example, I am unable to create a new favorite because the option is grayed out.

What's the solution, please?

I am trying to recreate the Favorites I had in the unpurchased/old version of SmartFTP so I can FTP to my websites.

As it is, the "Standard Toolbar" is entirely "grayed-out". When I try to create a Favorite (Favorite | New | Favorite), the Favorite choice (as well as the Folder choice) is grayed out.

To create a new favorite use: Menu: File -> New Remote Browser
