program crash on launch

It seems there is a corrupt data file. Delete or better move the data files from:
C:\Document and Settings\<user>\Application Data\SmartFTP\Client 2.0
to another place. Then start the application again.

copied the data files to a backup directory and restarted the app.

Same error occurs.

Use the SmartFTP Backup Tool: Start->All Programs->SmartFTP Client 2.0->Tools->Backup Tool and "Reset" everything.
