Export/Import of ASCII file list for data transfer

I have set up a list of over 60 entries in the list of ASCII files for data transfer and I wish to archive this list in case of a reinstall and also to share it with a colleague who also uses SmartFTP for the same actions.

Is there a way of getting this list in a form for easy entry into the settings for SmartFTP?

Nick

If you want to save all settings use the SmartFTP Client Backup Tool. Or go to the Global Settings -> Backup page. If you want to save the ASCII extensions only, open regedit.exe and export the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartFTP\Client 2.0\Settings\Transfer\Type
To import just double click on the .reg file created from the export.

BTW: The ASCII file list is a relict from the time where text editors on Windows (e.g. notepad.exe) weren't able to display/handle files with unix line endings. All professional text editors today (e.g. Ultraedit) support unix line endings.
