SmartFTP Editor

A PHP Script Editor, right inside of SmartFTP.

Now, that would be awexome!

What for? The next person is going to ask for an ASP editor, the next one for a Perl editor and so on ... there already are *plenty* such editors out there, even some very good free ones. Moreover, a good editor will bloat up SmartFTP quite a lot. Remember, it's an FTP client, not a web-development suite. Many people use FTP although they have nothing with web-development in mind, these people would gain nothing of an included PHP editor.

Eyebex, poor soul, you're way too old-fashioned! I've envisioned a megacool HTML/PHP/DOC/PPT/XLS/PDF/JPG/BMP/TIF/RAR/ZIP/UHA/MAT/C/CPP/PAS-file editor/file manager/word processor/compiler/p2p-client/defragmenter and partition manager combo feature in the next version of SmartFTP. You must do this guys! I'm sure you can do this! This way I could get rid of tons of MB's of useless apps like MS Office and Visual Studio and hundreds more! But remember to keep your proggy free for students like me!
