The forum and knowledgebase does have some information on settings but not anywhere near the amount and quality needed to understand them.
A simple readme would suffice for providing end-users of SmartFTP with information about the various settings of the software.
Documentation on the settings for SmartFTP is technically not a feature request, but it is important.
