I'd like to submit a suggestion to add Growl for Windows support to SmartFTP, to supplement/replace the built-in pop-ups for transfer/queue events.
With so many Windows apps spitting out their own notifications, it's nice to use a system that helps manage and customize them.
The libraries to Growl-enable an application are very small, as is the code needed to push the notifications out.
In most of my own apps, I've implemented it in under 20 lines.
