SmartFTP 1.5.988.14 Transfer problems

Hi,

My SmartFTP 1.5.988.14 transfers files normally but after transferring the file it waits about 20 seconds before it starts to transfer next file in this SmartFTP Version on normal and SSL connection. Could you fix this problem.

Please post a complete bug report including a log and instructions how to reproduce it.

While Uploading Files to any FTP Server, SFTP waits about 5 to 20 seconds past every Fileupload.

Check List

Verify if the bug exists after an Uninstall/Reinstall, followed by rebooting your PC.

Yes, THe Bug appeared after installing new Verion 1.5.988.16

Verify that the bug has not already been stated in the Known Issues thread.

I found nothing similar

Verify the existing open threads in the bug-report forum. Cuts down on dupes.

This Thread is the Only Thread i found on that Topic

Verify if the bug has been fixed already, by installing the latest Development Build.

I installed the latest Development Build, but the Bug is still there

Provide complete step-by-step instructions on how-to reproduce the crash or bug.

When Uploading Files to any FTP-Server, SmartFTP waits about 5 to 20 seconds. Uploading a site with only about hundred Files need too long.

Before yesterdayFile was uploaded, and Sftp went to the next, all worked well, since i installed that Version.

You may reproduce this Error by uploading a file (better more than one file) to any ftp-Server.

Hi, try this: go to settings, transfer, integrity and disable all, then test again.

Problem appears still in SmartFTP 1.5.988.49 even i disabled integrity.

Does it happen with small files as well? Or only if the file transfer takes a certain amount of time (> 10 minutes for example)?

I tested with a pureftpd server and I wasn't able to reproduce the problem.

Try the latest build from:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

As a workaround for this problem where the FIN ACK doesn't arrive at the client we ungracefully close the data connection now (non SSL connections only).
