Win98 Exception KERNEL32.DLL - Some Remote Directories only.

(Illegal Operation)

This is a new problem. I can update and expand most directories; but some throw the above error. IT's alwasy the same directories. I've pasted the error and status screens below.

Also, I don't see any commands up or down in the LOG screen. Also a new problem. I also

I've uninstalled Norton System Works 2004 and deactivated PC-Cillin (Trend Micro Anti Virus). Same problem.

I also downloaded and installed:
SFTPNSI.exe -and-
SFTPDev.exe

I also tried re-installing completely from:
SFTPFull.exe

I did install SmartFTP Backup Manager not too long ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please install the latest developer build. As you can see in the change log, the Windows 98 Kernel32 exception has been fixed in:
1.0.982.15
Windows 98 only: Fixed bug what caused a Kernel32 exception.

Your log says that you are running 1.0.982.11

I did download the latest SFTPDev.exe and that solved the problem. Whew !! I have an update that I'm waiting to publicize; but, I couldn't upload a GIF icon.

I also got the command line log window back !!

P.S.: You said that my log shows that I was running 1.0.982.11. I'm seeing "Version : 1.0.982.12 ". Am I missing something ?
