SmartFTP v2.5.1008 hogs virtual memory on windows 2000

Hello,

After having problems with my computer slowing down for the last month, I noticed (after receiving several low virtual memory notices, and reading up on it) that SmartFTP v2.5.1008 seems to have taken up about 312MB of memory after running for 9 hours. I searched on the forums and saw that this issue has been addressed in the past and the solution was to upgrade to the next latest version. Is this still the answer or is there something else I can do?

Here's a snapshot of my system info and of the task manager:

Yes please install the latest version from:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

and tell us what SmartFTP is doing during the 9 hours. Are you using the Transfer Queue? How many items do you have in the Transfer Queue? How many were processed?
Do you have Recurrence enabled in some of the items?

Regards,
Mat
