I have been using Smart FTP for awhile as a home user, downloading files. This week, I was downloading several files
and Smart FTP started showing an error and would have to shutdown. I did not submit to Microsoft.
When the error occurred, I went to the Microsoft Event Viewer, and this is the message I got
Faulting application smartftp.exe, version 2.5.1006.39, faulting module shimgvw.dll, version 6.0.2900.2180, fault address 0x0001fa32.

First, I removed the software, then reinstalled it, and the bug would remain. I would sometimes get connected, and then other
times not get connnected.
Finally, I went back to a previous version, 2.5.1006.23, and my system started working again.
