fails to download URL taken from clipboard

clipboard has ftp://ftp.sierra.com/pub/sierra/fear/de ... emo_en.exe

smartftp detects it, puts in the queue, but fails to download:

[14:38:56] CWD ftp://ftp.sierra.com/pub/sierra/fear/demo
[14:38:56] 550 No such directory.
