Mouse Pointer Disappear

The Mouse Pointer disappears when dragging an item from the local browser to the remote, when it's over the remote.

Problem reported several times already but we are not able to reproduce it. Make sure the SmartHook.dll is registered correctly. Manually run the following command when logged in with a user with administration privileges:
regsvr32.exe SmartHook.dll

tryed the command you gave but it didn't work, it says it can't find the module.

I put here my sys info in case it helps:

You have to run the command in the SmartFTP application folder of course.

You have to run the command in the SmartFTP application folder of course.

Could you please be more explicit? Where should I write the command?

Open a "Command Prompt" which gives you a DOS-like shell. At that prompt, change to the directory where you installed SmartFTP, e.g.
cd "Program Files\SmartFTP Client"
That's the directory "SmartHook.dll" is in, so now you can type (again at the prompt)
regsvr32.exe SmartHook.dll

ahhh... in the dos prompt!

Ok, done, but nothing changes

Ok, this is what happens (remote on top / local on bottom):

When the mouse pointer drags over the RichEdit status area and want to enter the remote file list it it placed a bit higher, and a bit to the left. You will recognize that when you drag your file over the RichEdit area to the right, the file WILL be visible at some time, but there is some weird unused "space" when you should leave the RichEdit area.

See this image: http://picserver.student.utwente.nl/v/6K2Y7E2MYJTP

Red line: Drag the file over the rich text to the remote area, no mouse will be visible.
Blue line: Drag the mouse to the right, and move it into the remote area.
You will see (green dashed line) that the mouse cursor is much higher, and much more located to the left as where it should be. This is also the reason why it is not visible when you are further to the left and then drag it into the remote area, I think.

So far, so good. I think this is what happens.
But now the question to the SmartFTP team is: Why / How can this happen?

Thanks for your detailed analysis, however, I'm still unable to reproduce it. It simply does not happen on my machine it seems. Are you running Windows XP with *all* the latest updates installed?

Bug confirmed but unable to reproduce here as well :-(

If someone wants to spend some hours to test debug builds please contact me.
Thanks.
