failed to create sfFTPlib::FTPconnection. hr=%x

Hello Forums,

I try to deploy SmartFTP MSI over AD.

Now i become the error i descriptet above.

Facts:

After installing the msi i logged on as a normal user (only user rights).

When I start smartftp I become this error.
When I logged off and log in as admin I get no error.
Log off and login as user i become no error.

Can someone tell me what smartftp does as admin?

I can not log in on every pc as admin

Are you running the latest version of SmartFTP?

The new build should output the correct error code instead of %x.

On what systems do you experience these problems? Windows XP or Windows 2000?

If you still get the
Failed to create sfFTPLib::FTPConnection error, then go to the command prompt and register the sfFTPLib.dll by typing the following command:
regsvr32.exe sfFTPLib.dll

This shouldn't be necessary on Windows 2000 and Windows XP because we use Side by Side execution (SxS).
