Uploading Problem

I have uploaded files into an existing site to make changes to the webpage. I deleted the old files and drop and dragged the new files over to SmartFTP - but when I go to the web and view the webpage all of the files are listed instead of becoming a webpage.

Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong. My previous webpage worked well.
