public_html

If the URL settings are correctly set the public_html will be removed. You have to change the FTP Path in the Favorite Item Settings.

sweet, thanks

I have the same problem,
every time i do 'copy URL=> http'
I get :

www.mydomain.com/httpdocs/something.html

I tried the following in edit favorites :
FTP Web Root Path : ftp.mydomain.com
AND
FTP Web Root Path : ftp.mydomain.com/httpdocs/

Neither works.
I still get the 'httpdocs' part.

This is not the "FTP Web Root Path". What you need to enter is the full path you're in after logging in to your FTP account. That is, the path a PWD command would return directly after logging in (enter the command at the Command Line you get with View -> Toolbars).

OMG
that worked
solution was simply : "/httpdocs" without the ftp.mydomain.com part
Thx a Lot !!

Ok, I have a question. I am part of a gaming clan, and as advanced as we are, we have a website and an FTP server. SmartFTP was recommended on the forums so I dl'ed it. Now, I am trying to get the HTTP thing to work so I can view some photos that are on our FTP server, but everytime I click on copy HTTP URL it comes up page not available. I tried setting the favorites, but I just dont know what goes in that bottom box. What do I put in there? I dont understand what it is asking me for.

Please search the forums, it has already been explained in great detail what to enter.
