How can you force SMARTFTP to pick a modem over a LAN?

Hi,

I have a laptop which is using a LAN connection and at the same time I am connected to the internet via a wireless card.

I want SMARTFTP to pick the wireless card connection but it always tries to use the LAN!!!

Is there a way to force it to use the wireless card connection?

PS I need the LAN connection active so I cant disable it.

Please help!!

Make the Wireless LAN the standard connection within Windows. That should do it.

Do you mean through Network Connections -> right click -> Set as Default connection?

I tried that but it still doesnt work... As soon as I disable the network card it works. But if it is enabled it doesnt.

Any other ideas?

Well as workarround you can add a proxy bind it to your wifi lan then on SmartFTP use that proxy.

Aokromes,

What kind of proxy do you mean?

Thanks..

Any proxy software with bind to ip adress feature, for example, wingate.

Aokromes,

The Wireless LAN connection assigns IP addresses dynamically so I cant seem to bind the proxy to it.. (it doesnt appear in the drop down menu)
