Download resumes, goes beyond file size, starts over

I am downloading a .iso file in the Global Queue. The download continues for a couple minutes, then disconnects, resumes, disconnects, etc. It finally reaches the posted file size and continues past for several MB. At the time of the next disconnect, the file is zeroed and the download begins again.

I have stopped the download after it goes beyond the expected file size, but before it restarts. The ISO file seems to be valid although somewhat larger. It is just a real problem monitoring the download.

Any clues would be appreciated.
