FTP errors

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get this to work on a particular ftp site.
The storage server is a NAS box and it should be fine. I can get in with IE and work OK, but I prefer to use smart.

So first I got an error about "port command" and I switched from passive mode to port mode.
Now I get an error about
450 Requested file action not taken. Inexistent file or no access rights.

I know that it isn't a permissions issue but I don't know what else to look at.

I joined the forum for this very same reason... try going to:

Tools--> Settings --> [Select Transfer] ---> uncheck "Show all files" and "Resolve Links"

hope this works for you.
