On my website www.coldplay.poopinajar.co.uk, the images cannot be seen. What CHMOD permission should I use?
the website works showing images...are you trying to make user(s) to be allowed to read/write ?
for power user...6 (Gadmin)
for admins (group) ....6 with write perms....4 without
for standard users...definatley 4 for read only
so.... 664 or 644
dont 777 that will gill everyone the power to read/write/execute
you can do 764 for Gadmin to execute
or 744 etc....I think you get the idea..
7 read/write/exec (owner)
6 read/write (group)
4 read (public)
