Backward installation

I purchased SmartFTP last year.
Today I got an email that I can upgrade to v1.5 build 990.
I downloaded this new version and installed it.
Then I received a message that I need to pay for it.

Well I already paid for SmartFTP - last year.

I emailed SmartFTP and was told, Yes, you did purchase SmartFTP last year, but not with the Maintenance.

Boogers!

MY PROBLEM:
This new version will self-destruct in 30 days.

I want my old version back WITH all the settings.

I think I have the old install file, but... what can I do to uninstall this NEW version and reinstall the ORIGINAL version WITHOUT losing my settings?

Can it be done?

Hello ...

1. In the setup before the installation started the following warning was displayed:

2. At the time of your purchase you were aware of terms and conditions and you chose to buy the license without maintenance plan.

3. SmartFTP doesn't self destruct itself.

To your request, you can install the old version and restore the backup of the data files. If you have no backup, you can need to manually rename the Favorites.dat backup file in the application data folder.
