NEED HELP FAST -- CONNECTION ISSUE

Okay, so I just downloaded a free trial of Smart-FTP and I added in my server address/username/passowrd that my host told me to, and it reconizes the server (Resolving host name retro-vibe.net...
Connecting to (retro-vibe.net) -> IP: 63.247.93.10 PORT: 21
Connected to (retro-vibe.net) -> Time = 0ms) and username (USER mariah
331 User mariah OK. ) but after that, this is what shows up in the Log every time:

Password required
PASS (hidden)
530 Authentication failed, sorry
Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...

What's wrong? :? 8O

Either you username or password *is* wrong, it's as simple as that. Note that "331 User mariah OK" does not necessarily mean the username is correct; it only means submitting the username was successful.
