ftp server provider

I have just loaded the Smart ftp version 1.5 to my computer which is a free version. Where do I find the correct ftp server provider with a user name and a password so I can start to use this new program?
Will Smart ftp do that for me for free or do I need to buy a licensed version for this?

These are settings *you* have to know. Just like the phone number, username and password for a dial-in Internet connection, you have to know which FTP server you want to connect to, and which username and password it requires. If you don't know where to connect to, you don't need an FTP client

The free version does not lack any features the licensed version has, so yes, it will do that.
