Settings for the "ls" command are not staying set.

Maybe this is something I am doing wrong but for the life of me I can't figure this one out.

If you check the parameters for the "ls" command they are found at

Commands -> Connection -> List Options

Where you find some check boxes for things like "Force long", "Reslove links", etc.

Sometime ago I accidentally clicked the "Recursive (-R)" option.

Now EVERYTIME I start Smart FTP that stupid thing is checked! I unchecked it but can find no where to tell it where to "save" that setting.

I have been connected and changed it then exit then restart Smart-FTP, I have changed it then restarted. I can find no option that seems to control this.

So help! What am I missing here. The program did not use to have it on and now I can't turn it off.

Thanks for the help,

Bernie

Hello ..

Update to the latest build:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

Then go to menu: Tools->Settings and Transfer and uncheck the "Recursive" checkbox.

No that update did not work.

I can go to the menu and check that parameter, but it does not "stick".

If I disconnect from the host and reconnect it goes back to having the "-R" set again.

There must be some place where a "save" is done to remember that setting?

Bernie

Update the setting in the global settings or the favorite item settings and not in the Commands->Connnection->List Option menu.

Thanks....it worked great. I was able to set things back to normal and now life is good again.

Thanks for the quick response. Your efforts are really appreciated.
