PASV iritates ASCII/BIN/AUTO mode?

Hi.

I thought that the PASV mode is only a cmomunication mode.
But if activated it resets the transfer mode (or only the button frame?)
from ASCII, BIN or AUTO to none if I changes between browser and established connection window.
Should this happen?
