downloading changes date/time

Hello,
Whenever I use SmartFTP to download files, it alters the date and time to be the current time. I am downloading log files so wish to keep the date the same, is there a way to do this?

The unaltering of the date seems to be the default method for other FTP browsers (e.g. LeechFTP), but not this one and it's stopping me from using the software.

Anyone got a clue how to fix this problem? Thanks.

I wish this was the default, it makes more sense to me. Plus I'd already downloaded 60mb of data before I realised!

So what? Just manually set the file date / time to the one on the FTP server afterwards. There's no need to download the 60 MB again. "Keep File Time" is just a simple convenience feature.

It wasn't 1 file it was about 300 files (web log files)

I've just deleted the files and downloaded them again now I know the option.
