help with connection

it only started doing this after i updated my smartftp version
i also tried the uploading solution (in the sticky) and that didnt work
i am using:

Windows Xp Sp2
Panda Platinum Internet Security
Smartftp v1.5.988.37

please help
i have to upload my website as soon as possible
and sorry for double post but no one has replied

Post the log again.

Try PORT mode. Go to Settings->Connection and change it from "Passive Mode (PASV)" to "Active Mode (PORT)". Then connect again and post the new log. You may want to consider disabling any software firewall or antivirus software running on your system for the test.
