Can anyone help? The fellow that helps with our system has given up and I need to get into our server.
Thanks,
Jim

By the way, I've disabled NIS and also the Windows XP firewalls and still can't get in... Our man that handles our server says it isn't enough just to 'disable' NIS. He wants me to uninstall it!!!
:-(
Thanks for any help you might offer.
Jim

Hi, try to disable -aL on listing settings, also try ussing port mode.
