How to upload to client?

Im having trouble getting my webpage to work, i upload all the files that i need but the pictures never show up, how am i supposed to upload the files?

i have just spent around 10hours with the same problem and have just worked out why it happened (for me anyhow) when i typed in my address i also added www. like usual but it would never show any pics but then i worked out if i do it just like http://domain.com/etc it works so try not adding a www
