"530 login incorrect" - how do i enter a password?

530 Login incorrect.

How do you put in a password? Or get prompted for it?

You're already using a password, that's what gets send after "PASS" (it's just not displayed for security reasons). You enter a password in the address bar. If you don't enter one there, but one is required, you are prompted for it upon login.

I guess that's my problem. I don't know how to "enter the password". Which box?
