Hello,
I am a long time user of SmartFTP and had absolutely no problems with it since I first got it! I recently had to upgrade my computer for more space/memory. Upon recieval of my computer I learnt that my C: drive no longer existed and was replaced by G: This was something that could not be helped.
When I initially tried to open SmartFTP I was prompted to download it. I assume, my computer could no longer locate it. So I uninstalled SmartFTP and then re-downloaded the installation!
My problem is everytime I try to install it, when I get to the wizard part it starts saying something about having an invalid C: drive. I am okay for the first part and when prompted, I tell it to install in G:ProgramFiles.... but when it gets to the wizard I get an error and it shuts down.
Is smartFTP able to install in other drives or is it setup to install in C: ??
If you have any advice I would really appreciate it. I am even willing to upgrade to premium. I know there are lots of free FTP clients but I REALLY LOVE smartFTP and would prefer to continue using it!
