transfering my ftp links from one computer to another??

i have a desktop computer with smartftp installed that has a whole ton of links stored in the history

recently, i purchased a laptop and installed smartftp on it.

does anybody know how i can transfer the stored ftp site links from my desktop to my new laptop??

Use the SmartFTP Backup Manager that comes with SmartFTP to save & restore all settings. You can also get it here:

does the backup manager work even if the versions of smartftp are different??

The format of the favorites / settings has not changed in a while, so yes, it should work. But as I do not use the Backup Manager at all, you would simply have to try ...
