Can't log on since I upgraded

Since I upgraded to the latest version of Smart FTP earlier this week, I've been unable to log on.

When I enter my password, I get the following error message:

530 Login incorrect

Any ideas how to fix the problem, please?

enter the correct password :-) does it work again if you revert back to the older smartftp version?

The password is definitely correct... I don't know how to revert back
to the version I was using before I upgraded, though... :oops:

Reverting back doesnt solve your problem. The problem is with your username/password or how you entered this information.

no other ideas, because there are no other possibilities. either your username or password has to be wrong. maybe you didn't change it, but the server's admin did, how knows. just try another ftp-client to see the problem is not smartftp-related, but related to your password.

But how do I contact Admin to find out my new password?

There doesn't seem to be any contact email to write to...

honestly, how should we know how to contact your admin if you don't know yourself? just contact the web-hosting company your site is running at.
