As stated in the subject, when I upload something with SmartFTP, my apostophes turn to question marks ... quite frustrating. It doesn't happen when I upload to other filemanagers. Can anyone help?

Make sure you are uploading in binary mode and not ASCII mode. SmartFTP doesnt change any data it uploads.
