Occassionally when I go to delete pdf files from sub folders on my site I get the following message: 550 Delete operation failed.

You don't have the permissions to delete the file on the remote server. It may have several reasons:
- file is locked because somebodey is reading/writing from it
- insufficient user privileges
The best way to solve the problem is to contact your web hosting provider.
