Trying out SmartFTP before buying, using a fully loaded Dell running XP Pro. Uploading to Yahoo! hosted ftp site using Internet Explorer.
Successfully uploaded an MPEG1 video encoded with Adobe Premiere Pro (it shows up in the Yahoo! Web Hosting File Manager). Video runs cleanly through Windows Media Player (WMP) on the host machine, however it will not play through WMP after accessing ftp site via another computer. Error message indicates it can't play this type of file.
Same type of error message with Quicktime. File downloads successfully after accessing the ftp via another computer, but it will not play!
Any thoughts on where the problem lies? Is it correctable via SmartFTP, Yahoo! File Manager, or perhaps me???
